A Special morning of storytelling with Dennis & Lynda Shaw and Ralph & Donna Bromley…
On Saturday, November 30th we welcome all Cappers to hear our special storytellers, Dennis and Lynda Shaw, who have just returned from their incredible adventure to Base Camp, Mount Everest. Their “hike” was the equivalent of climbing the Grouse Grind 4 times each day! We’ll see some amazing photos.
Joining the Shaws to share a similar story of their climb will be Ralph and Donna Bromley who have a long 30-year history of mission work in Nepal. As founders of “Hope for the Nations”, their work includes protecting and rescuing children from child traffickers, educating and rebuilding schools and homes following the devastating earthquake of 2015.
The Shaws and Bromleys will share how they prepared for the physical challenge of the climb, lived with the Nepalese and tell us how God met them on their journey.
While hosted by the CapChurch, we invite the women of Cap to join us for this special muffin morning. Youth and future mountain climbers are especially welcome!
